Wednesday Weekly Favourites - Five

The past seven days have been hectic to say the least. I had a lovely week planned full of catch ups, a house move, an IKEA trip and cocktails etc etc but in the end what I got was three glasses of wine on Friday and a Saturday morning spent throwing up blood. Lovely, I know.

I went to the doctors this morning and was told I have a torn oesophagus and just need to be careful over the next two weeks or so.

Even though feeling unwell felt horrible it's nothing compared to what others are going through at the moment, which brings me to my first point...

I was in Paris last January a few weeks after the Charlie Hebdo murders and remember being so worried while being there that something else would happen. Hearing of the tragedies that happened last Friday I couldn't help but feel fortunate and heartbroken at the same time.

The way the city, country and world in general has come together following the attacks is amazing.

It's scary, but it's also a reminder to do the things that you want to in life. Tell the people you love that you love them, eat the carbs, book the holiday, buy the jacket, send the love letter and most of all appreciate everyone and everything that you have, others aren't that lucky.

My New House

I spent Saturday afternoon moving house and Saturday evening in IKEA eating meatballs and talking about which dish brush and what size cushions to buy.

Shout out to my friend Zoe who helped me with the move and was a massive help! Can't wait to get everything sorted and start to feel at home.

Deep Fried Mozzarella and Prawns

Do I even need to explain why this is a fave? Really? Probably not. The boyfriend and I went out for dinner last Wednesday and opted for Italian. My starter consisted of stringy mozzarella deep fried with prawns and pesto. Heaveeeen.

Milk Chocolate Butter Fudge

Oh look, more food on my favourites list. What a change. I bought this fudge yesterday and had to give it to the boyfriend in fear that I would eat in all within 34 seconds. I would much rather him have the calories than me, obv.

Finding The Good In the Bad

On my way to work last week I spotted these pretty flowers and had to share! The street I was on was super ugly and lined with run-down buildings that are gloomy and colourless.

Spotting these flowers was a reminder that pretty things are everywhere, you just gotta look for them...and then use them as an excuse to delay getting to work by 2 minutes.

I'm A Celebrity 2015

There are some years that I don't watch this at all and then others where I am absolutely obsessed. I think 2015 will be a case of the latter. Ant and Dec alone are a brilliant reason to watch as well as the three new camp mates that are due to enter over the next few days!

Can't wait to see how Vicky does and what she's really like without all the editing and make up of Geordie Shore (another guilty pleasure).

My Fur Hood

So you know two weeks ago when I was complaining about hot, sweaty and wet weather this November? It's still here and I am majorly disgruntled by it.

I no longer carry an umbrella to work (pure laziness) so my fur hood has truly saved my hair during the shitty weather.

Pic From the Net

If one picture could sum up my brain processes, life and day-to-day cravings, this would be it.

Weekly dislike...

Growing my eyebrows to the perfect level of bushiness so that I can get them threaded in two weeks (for the first time!!). Look at those slugs. They're only going to get worse from here.

If anyone has any advice on threading let me know. And no that's not a shameless selfie, it's a crop of a snapchat sent last Friday.

If you missed the yummy and simple recipe I posted yesterday, find it here.
