3 Ingredient Vanilla Ice Cream - No Machine Required!

After posting two brownies recipes within two weeks (hiya health) and suggesting both be served with vanilla ice cream I got a few emails from you guys asking which is best to use.

I'm normally all about frozen yoghurt with fruit and granola or some good ol' ben & jerrys when it comes to frozen desserts, but this recipe is AMAZING and may just win overall.

It's just so simple, you don't need a machine and there's non of that faffing about taking it out of the freezer every hour to churn it. When I was making this my sisters boyfriend (he's a chef) was actually looking on sceptically saying it probably wouldn't work. It did. He admitted it was delicious #winner.
What you'll need:
- 600ml of double cream
- 1 tspn of vanilla extract
- 1/2 a 397g can of condensed milk
- 1 vanilla pod (optional...so yes, it's a 3 ingredient recipe)
Who can guess where I got the ingredients from? :)
What you'll do:
- Put the condensed milk, cream and vanilla into a large bowl.
- Beat with an electric whisk until thick and quite stiff, a bit like clotted cream. If you don't have an electric whisk just do it by hand. Or get your Mum to take turns doing it when your arm aches (like me).
- Scrape into a freezer container or a large loaf tin, cover with cling film and freeze until solid.
- It took about 4 hours to freeze. If you love creamy desserts, you'll be addicted to this!

Serves: 8 people (6 greedy ones)
Time: 15 mins prep, 4 hours freezing
So now this means you get to make brownies to go with the ice cream, right?
