Paris - Day Three

Since it's nearly February I thought I better round the month out with the third and final Paris post. I hear your sighs of relief, trust me. But I did warn you I'd be taking a bajillion photos!
We didn't have a great deal planned for the last day as we had to leave for the airport at 4:30pm, plus we woke up feeling a little worse for wear after the night before so we kinda just wanted to see where the day would take us. I think that's more fun sometimes, especially when you've had two days of walking and sightseeing (eating and drinking).

After getting up, tidying round and packing I realllllyyy couldn't be bothered to do anything with my hair. Hence the hat. It's new, it's delightful and I can't wait to take it skiing. It's also on sale here!
We were honestly so lucky with the weather while we were there. We woke up to bright blue skies and sun every single day.
As per, the first item on our agenda for the day was caffeine and food. I normally don't drink that much coffee but this weekend took it to a whole new level. I blame Melissa. She is the caffeine queen!
After some major indulgence we headed back to the Love Lock bridge. Natalie and I both wanted to buy a lock for our other halves. Such girls.

We then headed over to the Louvre to continue being the perfectly typical tourists. Melissa had already done a rather extensive tour so we just walked over, took some photos and enjoyed the pretty scenery.
Before stopping in a cute cafe for a little more caffeine.
One thing I really wanted to do during our trip was visit the arc de triomphe. After consuming our own body weight in carbs during the weekend we decided to make the 45 minute walk over there. With our suitcases. In the sun. With coats on. You get the idea.
This dude attacked me about 4.5 seconds after I took this photo. I hate clowns. Other than that everything was just as pretty as I expected.
It was the perfect way to end a lovely weekend in Paris.
Hope you all had relaxing weekends and enjoyed the first month of 2015. I cannot believe January is over already. It'll be Christmas before we know it!
