Shake Shack, London

After visiting the Poppy Memorial on Wednesday, the other half and I set some time aside for feeding...

Since lunch is a vital part of the day, and we had been meaning to go for ages, we ventured to Shake Shack in Covent Garden for a pit stop.

I went for the ShackCheeseburger with bacon (rude not to) and chips with Shack cheese sauce. The other half decided on the SmokeShack, which is basically the same, just with smoked bacon and chili pieces.
When I ate here for the first time last December, I forgot to the try the sauce! So I went all in this time. Sadly it got a little too cheesy for my liking. I reckon I'd go without next time. Or ask for it on the side, because I'm fussy and annoying like that.
I also grabbed a peanut butter milkshake, because it's impossible not to when Shake is in the name. The other half opted for coke, which I thought was ever so adventurous.
Probably one of the best burgers you'll ever have.
So if you're up for a greasy comfort meal that doesn't take ages to arrive, Shake Shack is where you need to eat! Plus you get to enjoy the prettiness of Covent Garden and the excellent shopping.
