Malteser Mars Bar bake...baking for lazy people

About 6 months ago I discovered one of the yummiest recipes ever. It is truly amazing. And simple. Which mayyy just contribute to how much I like it.
Gooey, chewy goodness.
What you'll need:
  • 2 'share' bags of Maltesers…about 250-300g will allow for the odd one to 'accidentally' fall into your mouth
  • 4 Mars Bars
  • 2/3 of a tin of condensed milk
  • 3/4 of a pack of chocolate digestive biscuits
  • 2 large bars of chocolate..I chose Cadbury's
  • 100g of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of veggie oil
  • 9x7 inch tray
What you'll do:
  • Grease the tin/line the entire thing with grease-proof paper.
  • Grab the digestives and crush them until they're perfectly mushed. Do the same with just over half the Maltesers (leave enough for decorating!), then cut the Mars Bars into little pieces. Mix all three together.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and condensed milk together until combined.
  • Pour the saucepan contents into the mixing bowl and stir until combined and sticky.
  • Put all the mixture into the tin and flatten. Pop this in the fridge for at least an hour until all cool.
  • Melt both of the chocolate bars and add the veggie oil, stir well.
  • Pour the chocolate over the cooled mixture and add remaining Maltesers to the top.
  • Realise you ate too many Maltesers while baking, decide to make space between each bigger.
  • Put it all back in the fridge and clean your messy kitchen.
  • Make sure you cut it into slices before it's completely cooled, otherwise it'll be quite a challenge.
As if using Light was ever going to help...
These delicious squares are truly yummy, make it look like you've put loads of effort in (even though you haven't) and will satisfy any sweet tooth out there!
